ABOUT KATIE

A portrait of you.
A portrait of you.

My journey to becoming a remote nutrition coach has been anything but a straight line. It has been shaped by movement, service, resilience, and a deep passion for helping others create meaningful, lasting change.

Today, I am a wife to my husband, Graham, and a mom to two active elementary-aged kids. Our life is filled with adventure, from traveling and spending time outdoors to renovating houses and creating memories together as a family. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that the best kind of health is the kind that allows you to fully participate in and enjoy the life you love.

My relationship with movement started at a young age. As a competitive dancer, I learned the value of discipline, consistency, and the confidence that comes from challenging yourself. Years later, I discovered CrossFit, and it became another way for me to push my limits, build strength, and discover what I was truly capable of.

After college, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice and my master’s degree in Criminology, I spent over a decade serving in law enforcement. That chapter of my life taught me the importance of listening, serving others, building trust, and meeting people exactly where they are. Those lessons continue to shape the way I coach today.

My path into nutrition began during one of the most challenging seasons of my life, when my mom became sick. During that time, I began learning more about nutrition and quickly realized how much confusion, misinformation, and fear surrounded food. What I discovered was that nutrition didn’t have to be complicated, it could be simple, empowering, and truly life-changing.

I started applying what I was learning in my own life, then began sharing that knowledge with others. What started as helping a few people turned into a ripple effect. I watched people transform not only their bodies, their health, their relationship with food and profoundly, their confidence.

One of the greatest impacts has been creating a different perspective on nutrition within my own home. I want my children to see food as something that fuels them, gives them energy, and allows them to do the things they love — not something to fear or feel guilty about.

That is where my passion was born.

My mission is to help people break free from the restrictive and complicated way we’ve often been taught to view food. Food is not something to fear or control … it is fuel that allows our bodies to function, perform, and experience life fully.

Through education, accountability, and personalized coaching, I help people understand their bodies, build confidence with nutrition, and create sustainable habits that support the life they want to live, not just for a season, but for a lifetime.
